Oracle 11 G Release 2 – Installation Steps

Once you download the Oracle 11 G Release 2 Installer from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/index.html

Click on Setup Files to Start Installing Oracle on your system

You need to enter your email id. If you require updated from Oracle. Here we have not given any email id for demo

Click “Yes”

You can choose any option as per your requirement Here create and configure a database

Choose as per your requirement

Provide the Configuration setting as you require. Default Global Database Name is “orcl” you can change as you require.

Above warning message comes if your admin password does not conform to the oracle recommended standards.

Set your password again or you can proceed by clicking on the “Yes” button

Click on the “Finish” button

 

Installation completed successfully.
